Recipe: Caprese Salsa Dip

If you’re living it up on the patio, or deck all summer long, which is amazing, you want to make some better-for-you food choices, not just wings and nachos.



INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Cups red or mixed cherry tomatoes cut in half

  • One mall thai chili diced (removed the seeds for less heat)

  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar

  • 1/4 cup freshly chopped basil leaves

  • 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese and save 1 tbsp feta to garnish the top

Toss all the ingredients well in a bowl, and let sit for 30 minutes in refrigerator before serving. Serve with crusty ciabatta bread, or crackers. #appetizer #caprese #fresh #livewell #healthylifestyle
