Immune Boosting Matcha Tea
Updated: Sep 26, 2018
My immune system sucks sometimes. Even with rest, water and proper nutrition I tend to get sick this time of year, and I said NO, NOT THIS TIME. So I am trying new ways to boost my immune system to prepare to fight that flu!
As a rule, hydration game has to be strong always, especially as the weather cools down and air drys out. The best way to stay hydrated is with water of course and lots of it, always have a water bottle or mug with you, and keep it full. Water for some, (like me!) can get boring...so how do we change it up? I like to make tea, and drink it hot or cold, so I thought, why not take it to the next level with this concoction, all thought to have immune benefits. I am not saying there is a pile of scientific research to support the individual immune properties of these foods, but I am saying that having them in these small amounts is a good way to change it up, and possibly give you an edge, but will definitely excite your taste buds.
