DIY Sports Drink

Control the sugar, control the salt, control the artificial anything. Here are two of my DIY electrolyte "sports drinks" that are great to have ice cold after a long, hot, sweaty, run.

CRANBERRY LIME REFRESHER

  • 2 cups cranberry cocktail

  • 2 cups filtered water

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1 lime sliced into wedges

Mix all ingredients in a pitcher and store for 1 week in the refrigerator.


COCONUT LIME REFRESHER

  • 2 cups coconut water

  • 2 cups filtered water

  • 1/2 lemon squeezed

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1/4 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients in a pitcher and store for 1 week in the refrigerator.
