Ball so Hard Energy Bites


Ball’ so hard? You’re gonna need fuel, have an energy bite that is made from real FOOD, and takes 10 minutes to make, and tastes sinfully good...got you covered!

Makes 18 bites


Don't you just want to sink your teeth into these?

INGREDIENTS


1 cup quick oats

½ cup creamy peanut butter

¼ cup liquid honey

2 tbsp whole chia seeds

¾ cup chopped trail mix of choice

1 handful of crushed pretzels


INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine honey, chia and peanut butter in a large bowl until smooth

  2. Add in oats, and trail mix/pretzels , mix until well blended

  3. With your hands roll these into 1 inch balls (use a cookie scoop or measuring spoon and maybe some gloves)

  4. Store these in an airtight container in freezer for up to 6 weeks

Having these on hand, is a lifesaver. Some days you need a little snack to push you through. I often find I am hungry in the morning around 10 am between breakfast and lunch OR right after work, on my way to the gym. I will carry an energy bite in my purse/lunch kit and have it ready to go, to avoid hangry states, and trust me, it happens to the best of us.
